Apple Crumble

Ingredients



5 granny smith apples

½ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp ground cinnamon


Crumble Topping


1½ cups all purpose flour plain ¾ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup rolled oats

1½ cups unsalted butter, melted


Method


  1. Preheat oven

  2. Peel, core and chop the apples into small cubes

  3. In a large bowl add the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and mix together and set aside

  4. In separate bowl add all the ingredients for the crumble topping and mix together

  5. Using an overproof dish add the apples mixture and spoon the crumble topping

  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or till the crumble is golden

  7. Serve with vanilla ice-cream
